How To Avoid Betraying



Betrayal is shadow of
trying too hard, self-
delusion, needing too
much to please, hope
against desperate hope.

Antidote to betrayal
is realistic boundaries,
willingness to see
limitations, acceptance
of failure, integrity.

    Though you and I look at the word 'betrayal' in different ways, I can certainly agree with the second stanza and the importance of integrity.
