PAD 30 - Lessons learned

Still Learning

Almost sixty, I'm still
learning when to speak
and when to stay silent,
when to push,when wait,
when to sit back, stand up.
I know I know less than
I believed I knew at thirty.
I know I know enough
that I best pass it on.
Almost sixty, still learniong.

  1. Wonderful poem, Victoria. I too am still learning--and thank goodness we can still learn!

  2. Beautiful poem. There is still so much to learn and you have expressed that beautifully.

  3. Thank you Peggy, Diane, and madhumakhi for warm comments on this poem. Yes, thank goodness we can still learn.

  4. Indeed one continues to learn forever. No matter what age!

  5. May we always keep learning, Victoria. Well said.
