I would call it an irony. The vague metaphors of life leave us wondering all the more, what is all this around us, when did it begin, when will it end? Your short and crisp poetry leaves big holes in my head. Have a nice weekend. :)
I have no idea if you read your comments, but I'm an English teacher in Texas, and I would like to use this in my class. Email me at tkdougla@garlandisd.net if you don't want this (or if you want to provide a last name, commentary or hear how it went, etc.)

ReplyDeleteWonderful Victoria!! I love questions that cannot be answered.

ReplyDeleteVictoria,
ReplyDeleteOh such a clever piece of writing. Sometimes I wish I knew the answers to those questions too!!!

Mind-boggling poetry, Victoria! Now I have something else to think about when I can't sleep at night.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I don't think things are so perfectly ordered; I certainly don't at this stage of life. This poem has me thinking.
