Stone 19 - Invisible

Wing beat, snort,
rustle, chatter, trill.
Wood resounds with life
invisible from trail.

  1. I like this poem. I remember noticing all the sounds in the south Texas woods wondering what made them, where were they, what were they doing.

  2. Thanks love. Thanks for taking me to the wood and for reading and commenting on my blog.

  3. This sounds a bit scary; these sounds scare me in the woods. I think it's a brave thing to hike and forage through the trees. I think it's brave to be a nature lover. Too many unknowns and stinging biting ravaging critters. I think I have just realized why I'm not as much a nature buff as you and a lot of others. Great poem!

  4. So many sounds if one takes time to listen!
